Since 2019, Growing Leaders for Africa (GLA) has rallied around one audacious mission: ignite the potential inside every emerging leader and equip them to serve with character, competence, and courage. Built for Africa and shaped by African realities, GLA blends story-rich lessons, peer-to-peer discussions, fun activities geared toward group learning and hands-on projects that turn individuals, groups, classrooms, clubs, and community spaces into vibrant Leadership Circles. GLAs learning approach is research-informed and locally contextualized—drawing from proven leadership principles and daily case studies—so that a student can see themselves in every lesson. From day one, learners practice leading themselves, collaborating with others, and multiplying positive influence in school, at home, and in their communities. GLA leads through knowledge by helping equip learners from the inside out—so they can live significant lives and impact their community right-side up.
